A planters’ gathering place, the Hill Club started with just a billiard table and a bar in 1876. The club didn’t allow membership for locals and women till 1967 and is famous for its colonial architecture and for the location: in the cool climes of Nuwara Eliya surrounded by a famous gold course and the President’s House.Category
